Words in Winter – arts and literature festival – Hepburn Shire, Victoria – August 23-25, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, Kate Lewis, the teenage daughter of artist David M. Lewis, had an aneurysm. Over the months of her long hospital stay and touch-and-go recovery, David held vigil by Kate\u00b4s bedside. He drew all her favourite album covers, using texta on paper, and decorated the walls of her intensive care ward with them. Each day these pictures reminded Kate of her passion for life and music.

Kate Lewis survived and is alive and well. Now these album covers have been compiled into a limited edition, paper back book called `Albums for Kate-O\u00b4 which will be launched, alongside the original framed works, at Daylesford Records<\/a> from August 23-25, as part of the Words in Winter Festival, Hepburn Shire, 2024.<\/a>
